Alright. Let's do this.

 

 

This is it. The weekend we have all been anticipating/dreading is finally here. As we all know, discussion around Ghostbusters tend to become somewhat... heated, to say the least. To get ahead of this, this weekend's thread will be moderated at all times and we encourage all users to report any posts they feel are trolling or trying to incite a fight in the thread and derail it.

 

 

 

Ground Rules:

1. This is the weekend numbers thread, try to keep discussions focused on numbers as much as possible

2. Whether you like the movie or hate the movie, your viewpoint is welcome. Make your points in a respectful manner and do not attack anyone for having the opposite view 

3. If you find yourself getting dragged into a flame war, feel free to PM any of the moderators, we will ensure someone is available at all times this weekend

4. NO UNTAGGED SPOILERS. Untagged spoilers mean an automatic weekend timeout for the user

5. We are bringing back the "Poisoning the well" rules for this weekend. Otakusai has already been suspended for the weekend (at the very least) and the moderating team will not hesitate to suspend any further troublemakers. Troublemakers does not just refer to people who are hating on the movie, it also refers to the superfans who go out of their way to attack anyone who doesn't like the movie.

We're looking forward to a great weekend and we realize the over-excitement (or meltdowns) can cause the thread to go off topic. We will be allowing everyone to post freely as long as the off topic discussions don't go overboard. We will also ask @CJohn to keep the Pokemon gifs and the Portugal football team gifs to a minimum.
