This should move to August 18th or November 22nd. I'd even say December 1st or 8th could work since Star Wars Episode VIII won't hurt it as much as it will other films (Thor 3, Justice League, Coco).

 

October 6th has two releases that may both do $25 million+ OW, plus Flatliners, American Made, Ninjago and Kingsman 2 will all be in 2,000+ theaters, still. Not to mention mother! comes out the following week (potentially stealing the adult-skewing drama audience). And October 20th has 6 releases, plus Goodbye Christopher Robin may go wide on October 27th.

 

It's better, but there's simply too many films in the late September-late October period for this to be the best choice in a release date.

I have a schedule that maps out what films I see per week (lol ultra film nerd whatever) and the period from late September to late November/early December (and even towards middle/late December as bit as well) is one of the most crowded stretches of films I've ever seen.  They really need to move shit around.

For some reason out of everything that's releasing this fall this sticks out to me as the least like the others movie, and I could see going on a nice little run based on that.

This is getting ok reactions. The biggest criticism is that the film doesn't flesh things out enough. There's still some box office potential here, but Fox needs to pick up the pace on marketing soon.

Yeaaaah I saw this last week. It's kinda cheesy. There's no Oscar bait for this for its just for a certain demographic (mostly women who are fans of romance and I didn't really like it.

This movie would've been a disaster without Elba and Winslet's talents. As it is, it's just boring and mediocre.
