France and Germany led the new openers with debuts of $3.4m and $3.1m, respectively, and holdover-wise, the UK remains the top market with a $2m third weekend for $23.1m so far. The action sequel opened in the likes of Russia ($2.1m) and Italy ($1.2m), while its second weekend in China saw it shoot to $3.8m for $63.2m. It opens in its final territory of Japan on Oct 7. Quote
