Screendaily - Falling only 42% overall, Trolls danced to an estimated $11.4m from its 66 markets for $145.1m, with seven markets - including Australia - still to open.

DreamWorks Animation’s latest offering held well in the UK with $1.4m for $26m after five weeks in play, with the film adding $1.1m (-25%) for $7.6m to date in Spain and $869k (-10%) for $7.4m to date in Germany.

 

Domestic:  $116,214,533    44.5%
Foreign:  $145,127,304    55.5%

Worldwide:  $261,341,837

acc IMDb after the huge release day thing in early November this are the countries that released later:

But there is e.g. no Japanese release date listed at IMDb, I can not imagine they wont try to relase it ther too, so...???

I dunno....i don't get it either. Maybe the japanese people decided to completely ban Dreamworks-films from ever being released in japanese theaters again, for some stupid reason? Maybe their apathy to animated Dreamworks-films were so high that they're not even bothering to see their movies anymore in theaters? It just boggles my mind.....and not in a good way. ?

 

I mean, the last time Japan had a Dreamworks-film released in theaters, was Madagascar 3, back in 2012. And it did fairly well over there.
