I read the book so I think it's pretty valid. The games didn't start until welllllll into the book and were cut short.

Catching Fire is my favorite because I never expected it to top The Hunger Games. Such a fantastic book with a great ending.

It is really a coin flip between THG and CF but I finally settled on THG because the games themselves were so well done, especially with Rue.

I voted Catching Fire, it was just so addicting. I finished it all in one day, it took me 3 to finish The Hunger Games.

THG has the tightest structure and its prose is the most suspenseful so it gets my vote. CF comes close. Mockingjay is almost bad.
