Well, first episode has just aired, what did you think of it?

I thought it was pretty damn good, as violent as I expected it to be and hinting at much more, which is always good. That deeper level side-plot has the potential to derail things quite a bit though, I'd be very careful with it if I were them.

Great acting overall, always good to see Rodrigo Santoro in a big production. I know it's silly just cause he's Brazilian too etc but oh well. And hey, I do think he's a good actor anyway.

I thought it was actually pretty cool that they implied that this is actually a continuation of the movie rather than a reboot by mentioning the disaster that happened 30 years ago, or something like that.

It's probably just fan-servicing but what if it's not and the big twist is that

Spoiler

Ed Harris' character is actually a robot gone rogue or even someone from the movie? He did mention he has been going there for 30 years too, didn't he? Probably grasping at straws here though.

Nobody saw the movie so if I were them I would be careful with that.

I can't stop thinking about this show.

Evan Rachel Wood is great in this, but Louis Herthum is phenomenal.

I wish they got rid of Simon Quarterman though. Those scenes with him and Sidse Babett Knudsen were the weak point of the pilot.

Really? I really liked their scenes, it set up an interesting side-plot and left us wondering what are the true intentions of management regarding Westworld.
