Thor should cross Wonder Woman worldwide by Thursday-Friday. Doing some quick calculation I think it should be about 831-834m by end of coming Sunday. Will update once actuals come in

Well, Wonder Wonder won't have to be shamed if it happens, that was a great run for the first female-led comicbook movie :)

MCU brought in about 2.6B WW with 3 movies this year.

I can see next year surpassing that.

1.35B - 1.4B for IW.

1.2B - 1.25B between Ant-Man & The Wasp and Black Panther seems doable. Counting on OS for Ant-Man and domestic for BP.

The numbers are astounding.

Marvel Studios is now consistently bigger than Paramount, Sony (and their biggest film by far this year was MCU produced) and Lionsgate

In the UK

Thor Ragnarok fell just 5% over its sixth weekend, registering $776,266 (£575,000) Fri-Sun. After an impressive weekend, the superhero sequel has now topped £30m in the UK and, sitting on $40.76m (£30.19m), will be confident of passing Spider-Man: Homecoming on $40.91m (£30.3m).

Dat IW trailer effect

Let's hope for an IW effect in the rest of the world then :)

That’s an overall -44% weekly drop for OS markets.

535M total is where it’s headed with a very strong chance for 540M (which would be only ~6M away from Spidey’s OS total. Crazy)

Thor gross breakdown for this week

Dom - 9.52m (6.29 weekend, 3.23 weekday)(estimates)

OS - 5.871m (estimates)

Dom - Thor dropped approximately 36.4% this weekend and 31.9% from last week. DS for reference dropped 32.1% and 46.9% last year. The IW trailer seems to have had a good effect especially over the weekdays. DS managed 2.287 legs from this weekend on. If Thor matches that then it should make another 14.4m from this weekend on and get to atleast 315.5m total. Given that TLJ should be more of a competition than RO was i think Thor will make a little less than that. Still it has a great chance to overtake Iron Man 2 at least which made 312.4m to land as the 9th highest grossing MCU movie domestically.

OS - Thor fell 52.2% overseas from last week OS-CH for an overseas total of 532m. TLJ should prove strong competition overseas in many territories next week. Thor will probably not overtake SMH overseas gross of 546m but should make at least 5m more overseas for a total of 538m overseas. That's still the 6th highest overseas gross for an MCU movie.

Total - Should get to 850m total to be the 6th highest grossing MCU movie but should fall short of GotG2's total.

Actuals up by .56m. Total up to 833.7m which falls right in my predicted range for this week (although towards the lower end).

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic:  $301,136,438    36.1%
Foreign:  $532,567,590    63.9%

Worldwide:  $833,704,028

Total Lifetime Grosses
Domestic:  $309,444,758    36.6%
Foreign:  $536,643,571    63.4%

Worldwide:  $846,088,329

Thor did about 1.25m overseas this week. It doesnt have much left in the tank OS so Dom will have to do the work to get it to 850 which should happen.

DS did about 4 million more domestically after christmas long weekend. Thor is ahead of DS in dailies and theatre count so should do 4 mil at least which will be enough to get it to 850. OS may add another million or a little more

Foreign:  $537,316,348    63.3%

Worldwide:  $848,816,474

Thor made about 0.67m overseas this week falling about 46%. Should make at least half a million more OS. 850m WW within grasp, maybe 1.5 weeks more.
