Say what you will about Apocalypse and The Last Stand, but a lot people's (baffling) favorite of these movies ends on this note

Is it really that baffling? As far as funnybook origin films go, it's probably the best outside of Batman Begins and the first Iron Man

Oh shit, behind Raimi's Spider-Man too. Can't think of many others being that great though. First Avenger was fine, Thor was kind of whatever. Ang Lee's Hulk was... interesting.

First Class had a lot of heart with the clash of Xavier and Magneto and the friendship they also build.

Apart from DOFP and FC i have not really enjoyed these films.

This looks like an image from a porn parody.

That 40% they took from the Magneto solo script is great, the 60% involving the actual namesake first class is awful, X3 tier silliness. Sorry but the math doesn't add up to a good movie!

three of those are better. also superman, wonder woman, aquaman, guardians 1 and a few others. all better than first class. weirdly overrated movie. i don't trust the people who call it the one good x-men flick.

The Magneto Nazi-hunting scenes in First Class are some of the best scenes in any comic book movie ever. The rest of the movie is really good too, but I would've just watched a whole movie of that.

I see the X Men fanboys two minute hate against the criticis has begun.

Why do some people have problems understanding that everybody is not going to like the same things you like?

And there is nothing at stake, here. The X men franchise is going on a hiatus and when it returns it will  be under new management. End of story. if you want to blem anybody, blame Rupert Murdoch for deciding to sell off Fox Studios....

And I a now convinced New Mutants will not see a general reelase since by all accounts that is a worse mess then DP was.

Yer jus' fuckin' mad that the MCU doesn't 'ave that much CREATIVITY and UNIQUENESS.

This is slightly how I feel about "Days of Future Past." It was able to be a pretty good movie while making absolutely no sense, which to me, is a pretty incredible accomplishment.

Apocalypse prologue in Ancient Egypt, Magneto dramatic moments, nuclear launch scene > most of MCU scenes.

with a script as tightly constructed as that you need great direction for any chance for it to be decent. the last act in particular runs like clockwork+the impact of the ending is because of Singer just as much. i know it's more convenient for everyone to downplay his talent now but dude knew what he was doing
