All of this Christmas movie talk has now made me want to put aside my plans for the day and just come home with a glass of eggnog play some Christmas carols put the fire on the TV, light a candle and start doing the list lol.

it's a Jim Henson film.  Hard to describe, but the characters are puppets, but they aren't the muppets.  It's based on a book/stoy and was released in 1979 on HBO.  It's a nice family and old fashioned home style type show.  I think it's pretty decent without giving spoilers away :P
