Baumer's 50 Best Christmas movies of all time

Recommended Posts

I found Krampus to be just a funny movie. Nothing too memorable nothing offensive nothing really scary nothing really great about it but definitely enjoyable and something I would certainly watch again if it came on TV.

Alright well I guess I will have time to do at least the first 3 films. Im off to see a movie this afternoon at around 1:30 p.m. which is around three hours from now. So I'm just finishing walking my dog and I will head home and get started on at least the first 3.

What an absolute shock! TELE and his soul sucking disposition rears its ugly head once again LOL

A Muppet Christmas Carol

Trading Places did take place around Christmas, didn't it. Hm...

I know movies like Die Hard take place at Christmas, but I never put them as Christmas Movies.

Some of the best scenes are centered around Christmas.

Trading Places has drunk Dan Aykroyd Santa Cause and Die Hard has "now I have a machine gun, ho ho ho".

Yeah, but I'd describe them as movies that take place at Christmas, rather than a Christmas Movie, which would be something, for me, that embodies the feeling, message, hopes, of Christmas.

It's so cold and creepy - all those dead eyed children in put in peril .

Unfortunately Talisman I have not seen all of those movies so I can't put them all on my list.

I know most are out of you wheelhouse (pre 1970) but Baumer as a lover of Christmas you should get around to most of them, I don't think you'd be disappointed.

Tele's favorite Christmas movie is The Night Before. How can you not love Seth Rogen accidentally taking Mindy Kaling's phone and finding it out when he gets a bunch of sexts and dick pics from James Franco? Or a random Miley Cyrus cameo? Or Michael Shannon at his most Michael Shannon?

you're the best. Love Remember the Night and The Dead in particular so much. I made the latter the last film I watched last year and I'm thinking of making it a tradition.
