As R rated Christmas comedies go, Office Christmas Party is a much more fun time than Bad Santa 2.

Office Christmas Party is exactly what the title is. It’s an Office Christmas Party. Comedians. Party. Shenanigans. What more do you want? Though it does bring a simple idea of throwing this party that takes place in one day, the film gradually gets crazier the longer it goes on. The film starts off pretty tame introducing these characters with their own personality, but once the party begins, the film slaps on it's R rating. It doesn’t try to force a lot of dirty raunchy humor down your throat as it takes you by the hand and guides you there. Though some jokes are written for themselves as you’re able to fill in the blanks on how a joke will play out later in the film, you’re interested in how it will affect the characters at this party. The film goes from a fun episode of The Office that somehow gradually ends up becoming Wolf of Wall Street.

A very fun movie. The cast did a great job! I enjoyed Kate McKinnon as the HR lady she was funny, and TJ Miller was very entertaining in it as well. it was also different to see Jennifer Anniston in a comedy where she's a stuck-up bitch, and then changes in the last half. Only minor problem was that Olivia Munn and Jason Bateman falling in love was very predictable(but I could buy that they're in love). Other than that Office Christmas Party is a very fun funny movie that I enjoyed with fun and crazy as hell party scenes, funny lines(like when TJ Miller and Jason Bateman talk about Vin Diesel and the car gravity like what they did in Furious 7) or just the random party scenes that were very funny and quite exciting! As well very well put together side characters that made the movie work like Kate Mckinnon's character or the DJ Calvis or Walter Davis going nuts and getting high on some "cocaine snow flakes." Overall pretty good movie, with a fun cast, and a fun story. And something different to see during the Holiday Season, my grade for this is a high B. Definitely a film, I"ll pick up when it comes out to home video!

Much better than critics are saying. Really fun, enjoyable movie. The third act gets kinda dumb (then again, the whole thing is dumb) but it's a solid B of a movie.

This committed the biggest sin a comedy can commit.  It was boring, and I didn't laugh once.

Office Christmas Party is a fun if forgettable time. It's obvious the cast had a lot of fun while shooting the movie and their fun rubs off on the audience. McKinnon is unsurprisingly the MVP, but Karan Soni continues his excellent year by stealing the show despite still being unrecognizable for most of the general audience. Really though, most of the cast doesn't disappoint thanks to their excellent chemistry with each other. (Rob Corddry's character doesn't work at all though.) The jokes are hit and miss, and it's clear that most of the film was improv, but it's just really enjoyable to watch these great comic actors play off each other. It all leads to a bombastic (although more generic than the rest of an already highly unoriginal movie) ending that just feels right thanks to its magical Christmas feeling. Office Christmas Party is an enjoyable way to spend two hours, although it probably won't stick with you for that much longer afterwards. C

I thought this would be the critically panned but enjoyable comedy of the season the way Daddy's Home was last year. No. This SUCKS. It's just not funny. There are maybe 2 mild chuckles during its 1hr 45 min running time. Pathetic. D-

Fun film. Glad it was not as mean spirited as it could have been. Mckinnon is very funny in here.
