I don't have all of the numbers in front of me. With that three-day estimate or 4 day estimate or whatever it is for sing what does that give it for New Year's Day?

James Cameron really knows what he is doing. He should not start releasing a movie every a year or two like everyone else. By taking so much time in between movies, he makes all his movies look like big events creating huge hype. Although, the first Avatar wasn't anything incredibly special, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the second one even reached 3 billion. The release of it alone and the hype that will surround it guarrantees 1.5b..If the movie is actually good, a new all time record may happen!

Exchange rates are going to be a REAL issue here.

See you at the midnight release mate.

Why do you keep using this as some kind of defense line to people who say they're not interested in Avatar 2?  I mean, I'll definitely see it despite my expectations being rock bottom, if only because I see like almost every movie.  Hell, I saw Nine Lives ffs.  However, I can tell you 100% that I won't see it at a midnight release.  Might do a discount Tuesday double feature with Mary Poppins Returns, idk.  Maybe it won't even be out by then?

Haha, shooting 4 films back-to-back would take at least 2 years, and post-production work would be at least 5 years total. Avatar 5 isn't happening until 2024 at the earliest.

Mocap production is completely different than live-action production. You can performance-capture a whole feature in just a few weeks, once you're all set up.
