Knew there would some excellent jumps. It's a normal week in school now. So drops will be pretty harsh today.

Also think the depressed numbers from the weather over the weekend helped.

FTR, TFA dropped 18.975 on the equivalent Wed last year.

===

Using TFA's drops exactly from here on out, R1 jumped from a projected 547m-548m gross to a projected  559m-560m gross.  Just shows how much it is still jumping around right now.

600 might be dead, but 550 might not be.

Force Awakens jumped 23.7% on the same Tuesday last year. Seems the Discount Tuesday effect keeps getting stronger and stronger as each month goes by.

Fantastic Tuesday - definitely tell that the post holiday movie pattern is in effect with everyone back in school / work mode.

This cheap Tuesday ~ mid 40% to mid 50% (plus exceptions, see e.g. Passengers, Trolls), curious to see those jumps for 2017 in relation to season or even month

Not surprised. I was at the movies yesterday and it was swamped for the middle of the week.

Yeah, I went to see Fences on Discount Tuesday last week and it was pretty crowded. Concession line was insane. I just skipped it and went to the movie, lol.

You mean you didn't want to wait in line and then complain to management that waiting has caused you to miss part of the movie?!?!

Or the poor concessionists. Or skipped the line claiming you're more important. Both are common too :(
