Very nice drop for Rogue One.  TFA dropped 64.3% last year on the same Tuesday.  Probably will mean a harser drop today though.

To show how much things are still bouncing around that small difference in drop changed the if R1 follows TFA pattern (with adjustments for different placement of Presidents' Day) from $541,174,291 to $545,309,351.

Will drop back down if it has a harsher Wed drop than TFA did (23.8%), of course.  But 550 is still a remote possibility at this point, if not very likely.

Nice hold for U:BW, only down 35%.

just swapping around from Monday since it had the 2nd worst Monday hold in the top 12 (Bye Bye Man was #1.)

The films with the biggest gains had the worst falls today as would be obvious. Always makes me curious what the actual balance is between the inflated Monday and the "super Tuesdays" we have been seeing.

It's gonna drop 30% today, just like the last two weeks on Wednesday. The Discount Tuesday effect seems much stronger now than it did with TFA, for whatever reason.

If it does, it'll have its first sub-$1m day.  Needs to have a no worse than a 23.98% drop.

So, yeah, almost assured it goes under 1m today unless some serious fudging comes into play.

Great number for ROGUE ONE. I wonder how much longer it can continue doing $1M+ days.

EDIT: just read the above posts. Looks like the day is today then, barring an insane hold.

Weirdest thing... you know you're spending too much time on here when you have dreams about the box office. In my dream last night I woke up and checked the box office later on and Rogue One made $1.41M. My dream was off on the second digit by one lol. I would be really weirded out if it was right on though so that's good.

I really would like to achieve this number, but i´m afraid not even pass TDK, its weekend and weekly drops are bigger than TFA, unless this rhythm of drops changes, i think won´t do more than 525, pity....

It's on pace for around $540m. Could be closer if it falls further behind TFA's pace, but it seems pretty steady to me.

It shows just how good TDK's legs were later in its run. Not too long ago it was looking like R1 would soar past it rather easily.

That is true, but there is more than one way to skin a cat. Rogue One piled up a crazy amount of money in the first three weekends and Mondays due to holiday boost with adults off work. Even if you go conservative and give it $535m, that is a 3.45 multiplier which is amazing for a 150+ opener. TDK had a 3.37 and that was amazing too, but it got there with the legs spread out a little different from RO.
