Boo Yeah! R1 with the lowest drop among the wide releases! As I said before, maybe the "sub-legs" will kick in now. Now that it's experienced it's big post-holiday drops, maybe it's back to being a really leggy movie.

Star Wars never really just peters out, after all. It'll continue to squeeze millions of dollars out from NA, who just can't get enough of it.

Die hard fans like me should be able to make a difference with a Star Wars movie late because most fans will keep going back to see the movie every few weeks if it's around. Of course I go every few days, but I'm a proper nutter with that as the British might say ;)

Going for #18 tonight, final IMAX showing. I will have seen the first and last IMAX showing at one theater and the last at two theaters. I'm the grim reaper for IMAX Rogue One lol

I can only admire this kind of dedication. I know I blasted you in a post awhile ago but you're still one of my favourites! 18 times is legendary.

How could anyone see a movie 18 times in theaters, especially Rogue One?

I don't think I could do it, but then again I wonder how people waste thousands upon thousands of dollars on crack. There are several worse habits, I guess. At least movies are a passion.

I have no idea, I can't imagine only seeing it 18 times. I'll cruise past that by next week :P Lol.

Sorry no repeat performance for my 41 TFA viewings. That is a tough act to follow. Maybe I should try to really weird you guys out by seeing Rogue One exactly enough times to make for the closest possible percent decline from TFA to Rogue One at the box office ;) Right now that means I should be at 22 viewings. Then we could blame the entire decline from TFA to Rogue One symbolically on my individual viewing count. "Well fuck if Jonathan was going to see the movie only 55% as many times as TFA the thing was screwed no matter how you figure it."

I admire Jonathan for finding the time to see a movie that many times in a pretty short calendar period. I went to see Singin' In The Rain last night and it was an awesome movie. I'm glad my first experience with it was on the big screen. But generally I don't like seeing films at the movie theater on work nights. Usually I just want to chill at home after work.

You should at least ask Disney for a plaque or something.
