Updated with Top 12.  Probably won't add any more. :)

edited:  Huh.  Didn't realize Passengers wasn't in yet.  Okay, fine.  I'll update once more when the Top 15 comes in. :P

----

Since people are still curious, R1 is continuing the trend of overperforming Tues vis a vis TFA:

5 (5) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Walt Disney $763,713 +25% 2,603 $293   $513,751,825 40

TFA: +21.51%

R1: +24.77%

Maybe not by much, but every bit helps.

(Now projected to hit $540,690,178 if it follows TFA here on out [which it won't])

Sony really should give their actuals sooner.  Wondering if Passengers is 13.  It lost a ton of theaters last week and is losing a ton more this week as Oscar contenders come back into theaters and expand.  It has two nominations, but they aren't in the top categories

I'll update when Passengers (and others) comes in.  Just didn't realize it wasn't in the chart yet. :)

That jump for La La makes me a bit teary eyed. Watched it yesterday and was surprised how bittersweet (almost melancholic kinda depressive it really is). It is sentimental and looking back on movies when they actually meant something (which they still do, but people does not look through the glasses of the creator the same way they did once upon a long ago). I'm happy to see that people actually have been affected by the PR that the Oscars is in the end and that they listen to film critic. It is a wonderful film, fantastic.

Because of Fifty Shades? 540m sounds reasonable.

It's had stronger Tuesdays and Saturdays* and softer Thursday/Fridays.  No idea why.  But right around 540 does sound about right, though I have no idea which side of the coin it'll fall on.  I was more making the point that it isn't charting exactly like TFA, though it IS in the general ballpark.

* Well, last couple of weeks at least.

Even better!  Too bad it has so few theaters now.  People have to be really determined to see it to see it in my area this weekend.

Why wouldn't it follow the percentages of TFA?
