Baumer's live reaction to Hard to be a God | And some other people subject themselves to it as well

This is a film that @Telemachos has asked me and cjohn to watch.  It's a German film filmed in black and white and it looks and sounds horrible.  It's also three hours long and the first ten minutes of it was horrible.

 

Now I have the entire movie.  I've told Tele I'll be starting it at 215 pm my time, which is in 25 minutes.  He wants my live reaction to it.

this was one of those movies where everyone's all "YOU HAVE TO LOVE IT OR HATE IT NO INBETWEEN BABY" and i'm solidly inbetween. it's ok.

It's already reminded me of something that John Waters would Direct. All of the actors in this just look like the lowest common denominator of people LOL. Everybody is blood soaked or filled with mud or sticking their ass out or missing an eye or something LOL

This is gonna be so epic. Fun fact, this was the director's last film, and he spent a real long-time trying to get the film made.
