There will have a 15 min footage showing to cinema managers on Tuesday evening(premiere).But none of them wanna watch that.

Only one media screening will play the film(not sure if that is the whole film) before opening(7pm Dec.15).

China Film Group hope the film could make ¥3 billion(about $430m) in China.

If it were to make that much money, imagine how that could change the dynamic of the film industry in Hollywood.

Of course, this won't happen. But it'd be a nice paycheck.

@MrPink

Our pact is strong but I start noticing that our stanning hasn't been working out well for the movies so far. Beyond, Billy Lynn and now this.

The hope is on Rogue One now. If that doesn't work out....

l think maybe I better leave Dunkirk to you. I won't be able to handle your despair if unfortunate events were to happen to that one.

People really expected this to do great numbers in China?

Chinese audiences know that they're being pandered to. It's different from selling a great movie, which The Great Wall won't be.

Michael Bay knows how to pander to China better than the rest of Hollywood apparently.

How much did Damon get paid for this?

But I can clearly tell you that Karry Wang, who played the emperor in this film for 3 min, earned ¥5m(about $700k).

Insider also said the reason why Karry Wang could star in TGW and get that number was that Universal and Legendary thought Karry’s fans will be the major force in consumer(they used big data).
