Lucky you.  Then you've missed the cringing experience of watching it with your mother. "Is this supposed to be funny?"  "No, I guess not - but how about those opening credits. "

The movie lost a lot for me on the second viewing.

We now enter the section I like to call:

Films to be released in February/March here in Korea.

The most confusing one is Manchester by the Sea, as being British and without reading up on the story, that title makes it sound like some quirky British comedy about an American family that mistakenly move to Manchester believing it to be a charming little seaside town.

Lol, that's like the antithetical of what Manchester really is.

yeah it's a movie made up of lazy juvenile jokes. I only laughed a few times when I saw it and I wouldn't see it with my mom or my dad.

People feel so special when they say the the only  motion movie of the year is better looking than the 10 CGI films we get.

Not to mention that Kubo is full of CGI.

Please don't start this conversation again.

Haven’t seen it, but @CJohn ensured that everyone knows how it ends.

USER REVIEWS:

This was really great. It's pretty much a perfect example of an emotional rollercoaster, but it never felt unrealistic. In fact, it was probably one of the most brutally real films I've ever watched. I was shocked at how funny it was; it probably made me laugh more than a lot of the comedies I saw in 2016. Casey Affleck delivers a mean punch alongside a truly incredible performance. The supporting cast is equally incredible, particularly Michelle Williams and Lucas Hedges. They are all very much worthy of their nominations.

The scene that stuck with me the most is the scene in the police station, when Lee grabs the Police Officers gun. That was tough to watch, but it was excellent filmmaking.

I really enjoyed this. from me.

I thought this movie was awesome with the cast and crew doing it great! A+
