That's the thing that makes me hesitant on whether or not that's accurate. If a trailer's planning to drop in the next few days, it seems strange to not have it play in front of a Fox sci-fi joint.

This is definitely getting delayed again but to where I have no idea. Last two weeks of October are dead at the moment so maybe they can put it there and debut it at TIFF/Telluride.

I worry that this is gonna be another Bad Times At The El Royale. Great film, but its released is sandwiched between two highly anticipated films, John Wick 3 and Godzilla. Add on Aladdin and BrightBurn the same weekend, and I honestly see this just barely making back its $50 million budget.

 

I'd maybe delay it to September/October to a less competitive time and to get some awards attention. Maybe some IMAX screens too.
