I don't know how much closure we can get from a pulled release date with no new date being set (especially given the Disney/Fox uncertainty) but at least we don't have to look at it on the May calendar anymore!

Isn't this the second delay? I think it was supposed to be released last year during awards season.

 

James Grey has broken lots of people's confidence. Let's hope the movie is good

Yeah, Gray never promised a specific release date. Early this year, he was saying how there were loads of VFX shots still undone, how he was still editing. And he's still editing NOW.

September is a better release date. Considering Fox has done better in the Fall, and this film would’ve died in Memorial Day with being crammed in with films such as Aladdin and then a week later Godzilla 2/Rocketman/Ma combo.
