WeneedtotalkaboutKevin
Amazing marketing ! I feel like critics will give the first-ever fresh RT score in this franchise because of this.
Porthos
Quote Behind every tradition lies a revolution. Next Independence Day, witness the rise of our country’s 12 hours of annual lawlessness. Welcome to the movement that began as a simple experiment: The First Purge. To push the crime rate below one percent for the rest of the year, the New Founding Fathers of America (NFFA) test a sociological theory that vents aggression for one night in one isolated community. But when the violence of oppressors meets the rage of the marginalized, the contagion will explode from the trial-city borders and spread across the nation. new synopsis Edited January 31, 2018 by Porthos
Krissykins
I wonder if this will continue the franchise tradition of increasing in gross with every sequel. Or if half of america are sick of politics in their entertainment. I’m definitely seeing it.
baumer
That was a great trailer. Really hits the mark. I've enjoyed all the Purge's so far and I think this will miss Grillo a little, but I've always been curious about how the whole thing began.
baumer
And the Sam Elliot like voice over guy is just perfect.

MovieGuyKyle17
They found their footing with the series after the first film. 2nd and 3rd are just fun action films.

DAR
I think I saw part of one of these where some girl wanted a candy bar or something. I think it was a Purge film. All I remember is the actress was horrible in the scene

The second and third were fun. I admit, the title of the fourth film is a good way to get out of corner they painted themselves into with pretty much implying that the Purges would end at the climax of the third film.

Perfect timing for the movie and the red hat will get it a lot of free publicity. Maxmoser3
The original was actually decent. The sequel was really good. Election year sucked. Minus the political angle, hopefully this one is actually good.

Boxofficerules
Wasn’t crazy about that trailer at all and I like the series. Looks way too political.
MovieGuyKyle17
I honestly don't know about this one. It seem to have taken the fun out of the series and replaced it with more of a horror/political element.
