Exact opposite here.  I thought it was just bland.  It basically consisted of him having a conversation with Kevin that I didn't really find to be all that compelling.  It also lacked Naomie Harris who i thought was carrying the film and was fantastic.

 

It literally paid off everything about the character that had been carefully built up through the first two acts. I hesitate to pull out the age thing, cuz I know Baumer hated it, but sometimes this feels like an age reaction.

Yes I understand what it was trying to do, but I didn't think it worked out as well as it could've.  Something about it just felt off.
