His first name sounds like a Go-Gurt knockoff

Β

His name translates directly to english as George which is the most common male name in Greece. For whatever reason he chose to use the phonetic translation but he's just another George.Β

Funny how people bitch about the lack of stakes in blockbusters while they are sobbing about the mostly ineptΒ psychological traumas inΒ your random indieΒ films that only concern like 4 people and a backyard aka the smallest stakes you could think of.

IndieΒ & Oscar movies have become sad andΒ pathetic exercisesΒ in navel gazing who think and dreamΒ of themselves as important while commentingΒ our world and human kind but, that isΒ exactlyΒ what they are NOT doing.

The fact few people are able & willing to see this irony says it all.

These movies are the ultimate, egotisticalΒ circle jerks exercises designed to NOT appeal to the masses because well, you know, the masses are stupid, vulgar, rough around the edges and uneducated and lately they have been voting for these horrible populists politicians.

Long liveΒ the Circle Jerk.

Especially the jerking, in circle.

Β

That is because you are one of those immature fanboys who think that destroying the world/killing humanity = stakes.

Emotional/psychological stakes involving two fleshed out, complex charactersΒ who work at a McDonalds can be infinitely more devastating and emotionally resonant than aΒ generic rent-a-MCUCBM# 127 featuring the obliteration of 5 billion faceless human beings.
