His first name sounds like a Go-Gurt knockoff

His name translates directly to english as George which is the most common male name in Greece. For whatever reason he chose to use the phonetic translation but he's just another George.

Oscah films are now as codified & repetitive as franchise films it s kinda hilarious.

As soon as Iread the first few descriptors of this film, I knew that it would soon become your newest scorn target most anticipated film.

Funny how people bitch about the lack of stakes in blockbusters while they are sobbing about the mostly inept psychological traumas in your random indie films that only concern like 4 people and a backyard aka the smallest stakes you could think of.

Indie & Oscar movies have become sad and pathetic exercises in navel gazing who think and dream of themselves as important while commenting our world and human kind but, that is exactly what they are NOT doing.

The fact few people are able & willing to see this irony says it all.

These movies are the ultimate, egotistical circle jerks exercises designed to NOT appeal to the masses because well, you know, the masses are stupid, vulgar, rough around the edges and uneducated and lately they have been voting for these horrible populists politicians.

Long live the Circle Jerk.

Especially the jerking, in circle.

That is because you are one of those immature fanboys who think that destroying the world/killing humanity = stakes.

Emotional/psychological stakes involving two fleshed out, complex characters who work at a McDonalds can be infinitely more devastating and emotionally resonant than a generic rent-a-MCUCBM# 127 featuring the obliteration of 5 billion faceless human beings.
