Japan OD Reception

4.5 Eiga

4.5 Yahoo

4.6 Filmarks

4.9 MovieWalker

Excellent WOM. Equivalent to 92.5% RT in North America

Wow. It's fascinating how much better it's been received, according to users here, in Italy, Norway, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, etc. Not a bad sign for legs. Not it's being received poorly stateside just not being received as well in the US as it has elsewhere.

WOM is same as No Way Home. Not sure how good legs will given with the number of wide release and GW Traffic. Well, all good to buzz down negativity caused by Ant-Man 3 Reception

I mean we don't have audience reception in the US yet. I bet it's going to be really good as well. I don't see this below A.

That's what I was getting at... I wasn't clear enough. I think audience reception will be very, very good stateside given the reactions we're seeing. Hopefully that means it can match the legs 2.67 OW DOM multiplier of Vol. 2... Or, maybe even get a little higher.

Letterboxd reviews are super strong. Plenty of 4 stars and higher

How many so far? I checked and it looked like only just above 80 but maybe that number isn't updated? If that's current, we should wait until a lot more pile up to get a better picture. Definitely a very promising start there though.

It has almost 2k "reviews" which is WHEN someone has written something alongside the score. As for the scores themselves it´s:

5 stars: 869

4,5 stars: 878

4 stars: 1,1K

3,5 stars: 429

3 stars: 216

2,5 stars: 67

2 stars: 38

1,5 Stars: 15

1 stars: 6

0,5 stars:  15

Avg score is 4,1.

Just overwhelmingly positive so far

EDIT: @JohnnyGossamer forgot to quote you

I was looking in the wrong place. You're right. I see it's 4.1 based on 3.8K ratings. Yeah... A very, very good start.

A movie with a 75% ob RT is NOT divisive.  Its hilarious that if it had gotten a 90% most of you here wpuld call it "overhyped". Abd now, its "divisive" despite being comfortably above 75.

But somehow Joker was acclaimed according to some users here

No audience reception in Brazil yet, just some critics.

So this will end up like The suicide, Squad. Good WOM, horrible world wide box office with bad headlines on how MCU has failed again. James Gunn is consistent at least.

It will end up nothing like tss
