Given this film cost a hell of a lot more then the two films you metiones, the CGI should be a lot better then what we have seen.

I got the trailer in front of Star Wars last night. I knew RDJ was in it, but I did not know the voice he was trying. Pissing myself with laughter when he talked in the trailer.

And, once again, the million dollar question is ,since this whole film screams "Holiday Family Film" why the studio did not release it in the Holiday season. Lack of faith in the film is the most likely reason;it just did not turn out too well.

I've just looked at the director's resume. Every movie he directed, had a bad CinemaScore

 

His best one was Gold ( 2016 ) which had a B-, but he has a Katie Holmes movie with a D CinemaScore and a C CinemaScore with George Clooney.
