We already know this.

You said Kong would bomb...and it didn't.

You said BATB would bomb...and it didn't.

You said Power Rangers would open over $50M...and it didn't.

You said Power Rangers was getting a sequel....and then the international numbers came so it isn't.

Don't give Gokira much more attention. He's a delusional troll, plain and simple.

Life's number is heartbreaking. I hate those "lifeless" and "dead" puns when they report them. :(

Same here. But it opened where it was tracking...just disappointed because I really really enjoyed it. Oh well. I'm really pulling for the international numbers to save it....but they haven't been reported yet so I have no idea where it stands in that regard.

I have been saying since Friday that the problem of Power Rangers was the OS numbers. It seemed to be DOA. Now it relies on Japan and China to save itself. Is the movie even coming out in China?

Excellent numbers still for Beauty and the Beast. The question now is whether it can eventually surpass The Dark Knight/Rogue One for #6 of all time on the domestic chart.

Power Rangers opening is solid, if unspectacular.

Kong, Logan, and Get Out all have acceptable/good holds again.

Life is off to a tepid start, but we'll have to see how it holds in the weeks ahead to determine if the divisive ending will help or hurt it.

CHiPs, of course, was largely ignored.

T2: Trainspotting isn't even making $5M in total at this point but at least it's done well overseas. Wilson is a total nonstarter as expected with its poor reviews.

It'd need at least $250M to make its money back.

Domestic heading towards $100M-$125M

OS minus China is doing $50M-$75M

Unless China overperforms Lionsgate isn't making its money back

Is it even getting released in China?
