It's Such a Beautiful Day (little hazy on the eligibility here and imdb doesn't help so if you don't like it bump it off, i'll give you an extra one in case.) 4. Beasts of the Southern Wild 5. Skyfall 6. Zero Dark Thirty 7. The Imposter 8. Holy Motors 9. The Avengers 10. Cloud Atlas 11. Silver Linings Playbook 12. Looper 13. Django Unchained 14. Lincoln 15. Killer Joe 16. The Raid 17. On the Road I did some more poking around and I don't think IT'S SUCH A BEAUTIFUL DAY qualifies. It didn't quality for the Oscars that year (which literally is playing for one theater for one week) and it seems like it's part of a larger multi-part series that's also got the same name? In any case, it's so fringe -- especially when it comes to a theatrical release -- I think we need to bypass it.

It's not part of a series but a compilation of previously released shorts, first released as a film in 2012. From what I understand it didn't qualify for the Oscars because it didn't play in LA, but it did have a "brief theatrical release" with August 2012 listed as the date. In the end, it's definitely a movie, and if it's not a 2012 movie I don't know what year it belongs to then.
