It is not gonna go THAT high. 30M OW wouldn't shock me, tho.

I remember reading during the OW of Annabelle: Creation that one of the main reasons why it over-performed was because it turned into a Girl’s night type of movie, I can see the same happening here. somebody85
It's PG-13? Damn, I hope it's still as fun as the trailer looks.

Incarnadine
I'm not usually interested in these types of movies but I find a Groundhog Day style horror movie rather compelling. It should steal the tag line "Live, Die, Repeat" from Edge of Tomorrow. Edited September 24, 2017 by Incarnadine
Mockingjay Raphael
Apparently, Universal already showed this movie to some critics, but there's an embargo. A Brazilian website attended and while they can't post a review for now, they said that it is great, and that they expect it to be HUGE at Box Office.

WrathOfHan
It sounds like it's stuck between an actual comedy and something that doesn't know how ridiculous it is. Hmm.

Nope, they're from the recent screening. Several reviews mention the crowd cheering a specific moment

I could be wrong too, but this feels like something that will become a crowd-pleasing hit. Don't know if it will be that big (100 million) of a hit, but I can see a 60-70-million dollar run, which would be absolutely awesome for a film that allegedly cost 5 million.

I’ve been saying this for a while: this is going to mimic Annabelle: Creation’s run, an OW in the mid $30m, plus, good legs during Halloween that will push the total close to $100m. It is going to be the first choice among teens during this month, I also wouldn’t be surprised if it makes in the OW more than the total of Jigsaw. If this is a crowd pleaser, then I can see it touching a 3.0x multiple. Despite being a piece of shit, Ouija got a strong 2.6x thanks to Halloween alone, HDD can be an event for teens.
