In the immortal words of @charlie Jatinder

WTF indeed. Went to my second viewing last night, sold out.

Be seeing it again Sunday night.

The only hurdle for NWH is that it will have to share screens with The Matrix 4 and The King's Man on 22 Dec (Sing 2 delayed to early Jan) and local tentpole Teka-Teki Tika on 23 Dec.

I'll be seeing Matrix 4 screening on Tue night so I'll tell you how that one looks after that.

Also have a Clifford screening tomorrow morning, that one supposedly scheduled for 29 Dec.

15 Dec - NWH

16 Dec - Yowis Ben Finale (local tentpole, quite successful)

17 Dec - House of Gucci

22 Dec - Matrix 4, King's Man

23 Dec - Teka-Teki Tika, Sepeda Presiden (local)

28 Dec - RE Raccoon City

29 Dec - Clifford

30 Dec - Backstage, Makmum 2 (local)

31 Dec - Ron's Gone Wrong

Spidey will hang on strong but he will have to concede some screens too.

If Sony does not under-report, yes sir.

OMG! I thought maybe 9-10M total before it opened LOL. They also added some mornings shows for today (Sat) and tomorrow (Sun) started at 9 AM.

Local films also hit a major milestone.

MAKMUM 2 became the first local movie in the pandemic era to crack 1M admission.

Nice! I did not see this coming though. We know there is a huge market for local horror movies, but I thought we had to wait until KKN di Desa Penari. The 1st movie didn't even crack that number, in a year where we had at least 15 local movies with 1M+ admission (2019).

THE BATMAN had far fewer showtimes than No Way Home, a combined effect of its 3-hour runtime and heightened COVID-related restrictions in quite a few areas, Only about 52% to be exact.

However, The Bat still managed to have an excellent opening day, at least 150k admission.
