There's going to be a big divide between critics and audience on this film. Theater was very into the film. Not shocked that the audience score on Rotten Tomatoes is way higher.

My wife and I really enjoyed it and the audience clapped at the end so I guess most of them enjoyed it as well.

 

I saw a 7:30 show and out of the 325 seats in tha avx/dbox theatre it only had about 100 people in there which isn’t great but I have no clue if that means anything for the weekend.

Some of the choices made here are so baffling, I almost have to give it up to Shyamalan. Boring but not uninteresting; ill-conceived but commendably idiosyncratic.

I saw it tonight and loved it. My only complaint was that it was too long. The ending especially just seemed to drag.

I can understand people disliking or hating the ending if they only watched Split or the trailers. But Unbreakable surely should have prepared people (certainly critics) for the type of story Glass was gonna tell.

The fact that a movie with bad reviews is getting praise but its users like Gopher and Rich for its ambition and weirdness must have you on Split levels of cognitive dissonance.
