Are there gonna be Welcome to Marwen licensed dolls for this? Considering it looks like Universal/Zemeckis sawed off all of the edge that was in the original documentary and are making some weird magical realism fantasy based on a tragic story, it wouldn't even surprise me.

To be honest, I expected the reviews to be somewhat higher, but at the same time I was expecting this in the back of my head.

 

Always did look like Small Soldiers 2.

Actually this is more of the Downsizing of the year. Father Figures is the Holmes and Watson of the year.

It's a stretch to call this movie good, but I think I liked it anyway, if only because of how ambitious and completely insane it is.
