I really dig creative marketing for this. And I don't think it'll be another Mother! Peele and Aronofsky have different sensibilities.

Details are very, very vague about Peele’s upcoming film Us. The story is set in the present day and follows Adelaide and Gabe Wilson (Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke) as they take their kids to Adelaide’s old childhood beachside home in Northern California for the summer. After a day at the beach with the Tyler family (which includes Elisabeth Moss and Tim Heidecker), Adelaide — who’s haunted by a lingering trauma from her past — becomes increasingly more paranoid that something bad will happen to her family. As night falls, the Wilsons see four figures holding hands and standing silently at the bottom of their driveway…

so judging from that picture the baddies are doppelgangers or clones or something?

also this list of influences is hot.

Saw the trailer with the Favourite today.  It looks great, definitely a horror movie, doesn’t look like Mother!, looks like the spiritual successor to Get Out.

It played in front of The Favourite and Mary: Queen of Scots this past Friday. Looks fine though I don't sense a real hook? Relies heavily on jump scares and I was kinda stunned to see the money-shot from Get Out (the lead frozen in fear with single tear-drops) repeated here.

This looks pretty damn creepy. Jordan Peele the horror filmmaker is such an unexpected and cool development.

It’s hard to tell but it doesn’t look like it would have the social commentary of Get Out.  Not a good or bad thing.

That looks terrifying. Even more than Get Out. But I’ll watch anything Jordan Peele makes so I’m there.
