What I meant is that Fabiopazzo came to that number (8/10) by removing the estimated weekend in China from the rough number given by Rth.

Also, since last weekend IW did low 30's OS-China, it is obvious that Rth's 25/30M range does include China - or is anyone expecting IW to stay flat in most markets?

If that’s 25-30M is OS with China (which is likely considering that’s how Rth reported the number last weekend) then OS-China is another 60% drop (actually closer to the 70%).

2B is not happening with that number. OS is falling way too fast for it to reach at least 980M OS-China needed for 2B.

2b is still happening, but OS-Ch is collapsing especially JW is coming out next week, but China and USA seems holding well, and coincidentally, JW has latter release date in these two biggest territory.

IW made $9.02m China on Monday and Tuesday (May 21/22), according to previous post, IW did  $18.5m Mon and Tues which I’m sure includes the $9.02m figure. Therefore we get $9.48m OS -C on Monday and Tuesday,

AIW SEEMS TO BE HOLDING WELL on OS WEEKDAYS: $18.5M OS IN TWO DAYS, (Monday and Tuesday): Total: $1.841B

Yet, FSS is only expected to do $8-12m OS -C?

Remember those Monday and Tuesday numbers are only estimates for OS (all weekday updates are).

What we do know is that OS-C did $32.1m last weekend. From various individual threads, I've got this:

  • South Korea dropping about 65% from $2.49m to $0.87m
  • UK dropping from $2.76m to $1.46m
  • Brazil dropping from $3.2m to less than $2m according to Rth
  • Germany down about 60% from $2.4m to $0.91m

Just those 4 markets record a loss of at least $5.6m, dropping on average 56%. It would require almost every other market to hold flat or increase from last weekend for Rth to be $25-30m OS-C.

Therefore the only logical solution is that 25-30 INCLUDES China. And although Solo didn't do much, it still took a huge chunk of screen space which will make IW drop harder. However it should recover better next weekend.
