The goal is to make > $745M by Sunday, which is the second-Sunday record achieved by Fate of the Furious last year.

It won’t, that is too high of a goal. It will start softening up, its inevitable, most movies of this kind soften up faster overseas than in the u.s and this doesn’t even have China. Of course opening in Russia will help a bit but stil 745+ million overseas , after its second weekend without China, seems too high.

This is def false, the re-release probaby alone made more than than

Titanic sold 1.85 to 2+ million tickets in Greece with 98 ticket prices around 5$. 9-10m dollars is the real number for original run alone, if not higher.

ya, you're right, 1997's $12,939,602 + $485,205 =$13,424,887

Greece was named as Greece and Cyprus in 1997/98 on BOM, that's why my excel can't "detect" that

Greece  Titanic 3D about $us665k (without Cyprus)

Wait a minute. It's already $13.4m in Indonesia?? There is no way it made close to $4m on Monday. I'm saying it not because I don't believe in this movie, but because it IS impossible. So its OW must have been largely underestimated. But judging from the numbers from other South East Asian countries, $11-11.5m OW actually makes much more sense than $9.6m.

Wed-Thu $us3.5m

Fri-Sun us7.8m 11.3m

Mon 1.9  13.2 (or 13.4 :))

Tue 2.7

Admits over 5m

The absolute ceiling is probably over Titanic OS, which would make its OS>The Avengers WW.

That's ceiling is a little low

If it explode in China, it could make $1.8B OS

BTW, IW cooled down a lot in Vietnam. I'm finally able to get tickets for good seats without booking in advance. Heading for my 2nd viewing :)

Infinity War did absolutely great opening in Poland.

271 279 admission during the weekend and 387 612 since Wednesday (5 days)! Till now, the biggest opening for superhero movies were:

1. Age of Ultron - 213 938 (697 489 all tickets sold)

2. Deadpool - 206 096 (759 083 all tickets sold)

3. Iron Man 3 - 201 733 (611 850 all tickets sold)

4. Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 - 191 309 (574 920 all tickets sold)

5. Suicide Squad - 171 512 (773 920 all tickets sold)

Avengers will easily beat Suicide Squad's record and maybe will broke 1 mln in tickets sold!

$2 Billion is looking good! Just need 2nd Weekend of NA to be decent and $600M should be locked. A $400M+ total from China would be good too.

$600M is already locked in North America

Seems like a lock to me, if the massages than china is sending come to fruition.

IMO, it is already locked. $1.4b OS seems already a realistic target with a 350-400 range from China. If China explodes even more (something that we should not rule out), then Titanic, both OS and WW, would be the target...
