K. So critics can have their opinion, and not everyone will neccessarily like Endgame. 

 

But the 2 negative reviews out of the 72 so far on rotten tomatoes. Went through their history of reviews. Both didnt like Infinity war (so there was that) but one of them also didnt like Mission Impossible Fallout! I love marvel, and even i think Infinity War was below MI-F , but in general, to not enjoy that movie, makes me think im almost happy the 1 gave a negative review for Endgame, because it makes me think ill enjoy it even more.

There was literally only 11 negative reviews for fallout counted on Rotten tomatoes. And is guy is in that small group. 

 

So ya. Take that as you will.

You need to compare it against the B.O. the other films are doing on the same day and yesterday was Easter Monday with some schools out which inflated B.O.

Widest Release I have ever seen in the past 15 years in local theatres across theatres here in Toronto.

 

Every theatre is putting almost half their screens to this film. Many of the theatres added many showings over the weekend for this film and they have already started filling up....

I'm still waiting for the expansion out here at the Houston area AMC's. My theater has been on 46 for over a week. I expect they get to 50 but maybe not any more than that. The other theaters (through yesterday) had added a combined 21 more showings since 4/17. Not much for over 200 combined screens.

A larger cinemark about 45 min away from me (24 screens) has 38 showtimes scheduled for Thursday, 68 for Friday, 68 for Saturday, and 60 for Sunday. That's 234 for one single theater.

A lot of their rooms are pretty small though, 50-100 seats, the luxury recliners seems to be doing pretty well for Cinemark.

That's what happens when you upgrade to recliners, you lose about half the total seating capacity.
