I showed you timestamped post from thread in another forum. As I said I was tracking this myself and I posted final update for IO. Anyway IO won that friday even without previews. That was amazing weekend considering 2 different movies almost made 100m.

Mods ( @grim22 or @DeeCee or @aabattery ), why is that thread still hidden. I remember back then someone posted Wang Wang's number to some theater chain head and so it had to be hidder. So he went deep wang. Since then he come back up and some of the number he provided have even more detail that we had in the older thread.

I love that on June 19, 2015 Magic Mike XXL randomly appeared in the MT Top 5 two weeks before release.

That was a crazy year for sure. Avengers did not win the summer but so many breakouts. Minions was a monster OS. I dont think even Endgame will sell 5 million admissions in Argentina like Minions did !!!

Aladdin is selling really well at my theater for both Thursday (the 5:00 fan event already has 30 seats) and Friday in the PLF. Maybe @Biggestgeekever was onto something about the close proximity to Disney (the power of those eerie "Epcot topiaries come to life" commercials at the theater can't be denied).
