TS4 (end of yesterday) - Thurs: 15234 (57% I2) (+2987) (58% of I2 pace), Fri: 19142 (57% I2) (+4898) (57% of I2 pace), Sat: 12949 (64% I2) (+2853) (64% of I2 pace), Sun: 6936 (59% I2), (+1549) (57% of I2 pace), Total: 54261 (59% I2), (+12287) (59% of I2 pace)

As expected, didn't much pick up the pace against I2 yesterday. Today will be another big test.

I had put great credence in pulse report but if its a sample of a sample, then it could go haywire at times. We need another update from Wang tomorrow to see where its ending relative to I2.

It generally works pretty well. For example with CM and Endgame I was able to use the Pulse pace to predict Wang numbers with good accuracy.

Truth. The World is going into the wrong direction nowadays. To be honest i hate it. I Wish i had live in 1990s where there was no computers/self phones and everything was more simple and genuine....The modern world is just bad.

Everywhere i go, in cinemas and other places people are playing with their phones. Especially in cinemas. It's getting worse and worse with everyday. And one just have to wonder how beautiful it was in 80s/90s. But i guess those times are not coming back. Sorry for bit offtop.

Pulse today 8:35-8:49 EST:

Toy Story 4: 230/15 – on Monday it were already 114/15 but its Tuesday increase was indeed a bit diappointing: 154/15; Lego2 had on Wednesday at that time 120/15, HtTYD3 100/15, Dumbo 123/15, Aladdin 191/15 and Pets2 52/15.

Child's Play: 12/15 – on Monday 3/15, on Tuesday 6/15; The Prodigy had on Wednesday at that time 4/15, Brightburn 11/15, La Llorona 19/15.
Anna: 3/15 – on Monday 0/15, on Tuesday still 0/15; Miss Bala had at that time on Wednesday 6/15, Greta 6/15, Hunter Killer 12/15, Cold Pursuit 25/15.

And Pulse 10:50-11:04 EST:

Toy Story 4: 570/15 – that's a great jump within only 2 hours! Lego2 had on Wednesday at that time 113/15, HtTYD3 134/15, Dumbo 158/15, Aladdin 347/15 and Pets2 164/15. Yes, this looks way more like a 150M+ weekend is in reach.

Child's Play: 36/15 – yesterday already 23/15; The Prodigy had on Wednesday at that time 10/15, Brightburn 18/15, La Llorona 28/15. So far Child's Play is having quite nice presales overall and the trailer IMO works too.
Anna: 14/15 – yesterday 5/15; Miss Bala had at that time on Wednesday 10/15, Hunter Killer 19/15, Cold Pursuit 27/15, Greta 16/15 on Thursday. Still not good but no super-flop which would already surprise me.

FFH surging on Pulse today, it's already up to 1600/24 hours, OD has already added 200 tickets or so. Once social media reactions drop at 4 CT it should heat up even more.

This is the day it should exceed CM. That had 2116 tickets sold across formats on equivalent day. Tomorrow that doubles and in another day it’s around 10K per day. So its going to fall back again against this. With a tuesday release and Toy Story 4 taking the focus, it will be next week we see big surge. Its not going to help with 1000 ticket limit. It limits numbers when we have 2 big grossers releasing one after other.

The rate its going it would have exceeded CM without any reactions. With reactions, I am hoping for much higher. This Endgame "re-release" may also drive sales a bit, idk how that will affect things.

So Toy Story looks to open less than Jurassic World 2 last year. Just wow

A few weeks ago I doubt anyone would have conceived of it opening to more.

Or possible the second best opening for an animation and a 30% Jump compared to TS3... what a shame, Pixar must be embarassed.
