when you start seeing 200m predictions, 120m look terrible. the goal post moves big time. But Wang's numbers are great. I am hopeful for 150m.

People get ahead of themselves too hastily and it winds up unfairly coloring perception.

the range seems to be 140-160 for now based  from wangs numbers

Yeah I'm also thinking 150 million. Wang should be more reliable than Pulse as he has actual sales.

As someone who would be quite disappointed with $120M, the $200M predictions were dumb from the start.

200 was never once the expectation. From the onset that was absolute best case scenario.

 

150 would be incredible and 60% above Aladdin 3 day.

Yeah it is very hard to compete with I2 ...  in presales movie didnt pick much pace against I2 yesterday ... today will be another big test ..

The concern trolling in this thread over what would be a great number is so annoying.

 

Also looking like a very good jump from yesterday's pulse numbers are in store. TS4 has jumped 66% over yesterday's 11:00 number and the pace been rising steadily over the past few hours. I know it kind of needed a big bump to maintain expectations after yesterday's weak increase, but it appears to be doing so now. Could be a 25k day.

140-160 is a fantastic range from the data. That means I2 numbers are still a slight possibility if a real breakout happens buoyed by fantastic early WOM.

It is all Deadline's fault, before they wrote that stupid article claiming it would open at $200m, everyone would be more than pleased with an OW over TS3, now $150m would be a 'disappointment'. Urgh. They acted like @CJohn and we all fell.

I was never going to be that pleased with 115. Everyone would be pretty happy with 150 now. Did expectations get skewed, yes. But only by like 20M or so.
