I am looking till tuesday. I am just comparing with CM on a day by day to see where it can end up. There are only so many tickets it can sell on the last day for that day.

CM got 43k on its last day. I think FFH can match that. So it needs to be at 77k day before that, 27k Monday sales seems good as well so you are on point with the 50k by Sunday target. Won't be easy, but I think it's very doable. I am also including MN in my projection btw.

Don't know where else to put this, but I just noticed The Boy 2 has been removed from the July schedule on BOM.

Man, is July ever barren as hell. Obviously Spider-Man: Far From Home and The Lion King will be massive but I'm talking in terms of number of releases.

JULY 2 (Tuesday)

Spider-Man: Far From Home

July 3 (Wednesday)
Midsommar

JULY 5

no other wide releases

JULY 12
Crawl

Stuber

JULY 19

The Lion King (2019)

JULY 26

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

That's insanely slim pickins for a prime summer month. I guess studios just had to stack May instead, or August for that matter.

So my local appears to be allowing the discount for FFH on some showings but not others...can anyone else report if their theaters are allowing the discount or not? That will make a big difference for the OD

For better or worse?

I do not see any theaters allowing discounted rates. I see it for other movies but not for Spidey.

Ok, I guess my local probably just messed up or something (they allow discounted rates for all showings except the ones between 7:00 and 8:00, which probably-not-coincidentally are the ones that have sold by far the most tickets). So the effect should be pretty small.

Oh, wow. I see what @vafrow was saying about Aladdin staying in the top 10 into August.

Cinemark: Full Price, but with matinee pricing during early showings.

Regal:  They have a Value Day thing going on for Crown Club members which I don't have so I can't check them easily.

Cinema West: Full Price, but with matinee pricing during early showings.

Studio Movie Grill: Full Price, but with matinee pricing during early showings.

I kinda doubt Regal would let the Value Day thing apply, but who knows.  Might be a YMMV thing with some theaters not playing close enough attention.

Moreover, Midsommar and Crawl have no chance to be more than 50m grossers at absolute best, with only a slim chance for Stuber. Here's hoping this allows crazy holds for TS4, Aladdin, Rocketman, Wick, and EG throughout the month.
