The Box Office Buzz and Tracking Thread: Electric Boogaloo

if we can do a check for Top 20 cities all the theaters with reserved listings, its more useful than even pulse data as we have breakup by market and also how full the shows are. But effort required is huge and cannot be done by few folks. @Porthos is already doing for one city.

Otherwise Wang is the best bet but his updates have been sparse.

Is the server down? It's just showing access denied to me. I assumed they just were doing maintenance but it has been over a day at this point.

Same here ... access denied ... this is why i said server is still completely down ... no idea what they are doing ..  why they taking so much time ..???

*gets done building possible seat map for H&S*

Huh.

So... Um... Was an official announcement made about tickets being made?

Coz... Yeah.

======

45 tickets sold so far.  In total.  Out of  6000+ available.  Only 47 showings regionwide right now.

It is 34 days away with two major blockbusters in-between it.  But right now, hardly anyone cares.

...

Don't expect regular H&S updates is more or less what I am sayin'.  Better than even odds I don't give an official update tonight.

TLK presales seems really good to me

Considering it’s probably not behaving like an animated movie but neither like CM / FK, it’s pointing for around $ 20M previews, which is excellent.

Curious to see how it will pick up on the final days, since i suppose FFH release coming is probably affecting TLK presales.

-Sucks I’ve had to miss the tracking of Spider-man leading up to its OW but fingers crossed I can watch it’s box office run. Keep up the good work guys!

Doing a quick browse on the AMC website, California looks to be representing very strongly for EndGame tonight. Quite a few nearly sold out showings (albiet not in the largest theatres).

I'm really quite interested to see what the number for Endgame looks like on Sunday morning.

Good luck on boards! I’ve been there. You should go on a fun trip after.
