That seems especially low. Doubling those tickets would not even equal Aladdin. Of course that is Thursday previews, but still.

IMHO, below $140 million OW for Frozen 2 would be rather disappointing with all the hype. Below $130 million would be incredibly disappointing.

I doubt previews will come in below Toy Story 4, which was $12 million. As for opening weekend I'm in the $140m - $160m camp.

Big Regal in Bay are. I remember seeing Dark Knight Imax midnight. All 21 screens sold out and people were in the line since previous noon. So festive the midnights where.

Now Frozen Previews

Regal Hacienda Imax/Screenx

3D - 10/139 (1020PM)
2D - 48/427(6PM A10), 7/250(7PM A5), 2/427(850PM A10), 4/250(950PM A5)
Overall - 71/1493

Not great all. Surprising it got no Imax or ScreenX as well. Bay area also seem to be underperforming quickly glancing around.

First dabs at actually counting theaters. Someone already did Willowbrook 24 AMC so I did Regal 19 Tomball and AMC 30 Dunvale (Houston area).

I did it all on paper. Take my word for it instead of me listing everything.

The Rise of Skywalker

REGAL TOMBALL IMAX 19

Total Showings: 21

Total Seats: 3476

Seats Sold: 1213

% Sold: 34.9%

Sold out: 0

AMC Studio 30 Houston

Total Showings: 16

Total Seats: 5064

Seats Sold: 716

% Sold: 14.1%

Sell outs: 0

Quite a spread if you ask me. Not sure what the means.

No hope for OW. Only hope now is it will have good legs.

Can we please stop with the overreactions when one theater has low numbers? There's a reason that we have multiple trackers in this thread, and to selectively pay attention to bad-looking numbers while ignoring the many good-looking ones seems pretty disingenuous.

Interesting that Highlands Ranch sold zero tickets the past 24 hours. Still a great day overall, and the Lion King comp is looking good.
