Bad Boys for Life, counted today at already 7am EST (so 3-4 hours earlier but I was so happy that I could count at all that I just started and it doesn't make a big difference. I guess 50-100 tickets can be added to both numbers below):

NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 690 (total tickets sold for Thursday) / 905 (total tickets sold for Friday, 15 showtimes)

Comps: Hobbs & Shaw had on Thursday (later in the day) 2.902/3.407, 21 Bridges had 346/475, Angel has Fallen 654/580 and Ford v Ferrari 1.116/1.516.
Very good! Looks a bit more frontloaded than H&S but would in comparison (without something added because of the early time) mean an OW of ca. 52M (Thursday) and ca. 43M (Friday). Even if it's indeed more frontloaded and the weather in Canada stays unfavorable I can hardly imagine that it misses 40M (3-day).

That's a jump of 22% and 68% compared to yesterday.
Comps: Dora (17.4M OW) had 567/459 sold tickets on Thursday. So Dolittle overtook Dora's Friday number. Probably with at least normal reviews this movie would have had a good chance to gain 20M over the weekend. The trailer was nicer than I thought but these 13% at RT...

Are you sure those regular shows have reserved seating? Otherwise they would have a seat map. Try logging in and checking.

To be fair, Bad Boys isn’t the type of movie that would do gangbusters in Canada anyways; I’d say Dolittle would take the bigger hit relatively speaking.

These are reg screens which have had reserved in past at those theatres.

This interests me is i think it will have a good opening with gans of ss and robbi as harley fans. What i am interested is the legs. Im not sure its tomatoes score will be an issue, but how the wom is.i think wom will really determine success or failure. This is also r rated is it not? Going aftet a "under 25, demo means youre going after an 18 to 25 demo on a r rated movie

Dolittle doing awful here, but Bad Boys is starting to pick up. The theatres I normally track for some reason don't have reserve seating for tonight, only starting tomorrow so if I do a report it will be from an independent theatre (which though is literally right across the street from the Cineplex which isn't playing either opener tonight so I feel like it will be a fair enough comp).

its just under indexing at denver. There is no way it goes that low. Just like its not going to be as high as what Eric's numbers are saying as well.

Looks like a very good opening for Bad Boys, but would not be surprised if Dolittle bombing is the big entertainment story this weekend.   Everybody loves to watch a trainwreck….
