I mean its not like Mulan has insane buzz, the views on the second trailer were pretty low. Personally I doubt it will beat Aladdin's OW but it should beat this prediction as buzz is definitely higher than Dumbo.

And the original Mulan ,though successful, certainly, did not make the kind of massive bank the way  that the "Aladdin/Lion King" did.

I really don't see Mulan doing under 200 mil DOM. 250 mil at worst imo.

I think it will do better then DUmbo, but don't know it will go that high.

Mulan is not beloved in the way the "Aladdin" and the "Lion King" were.

Idk I don't think Mulan will be another Dumbo, but I don't think it'll be another Aladdin/Jungle Book. I could see it falling somewhere in the middle, around Cinderella numbers domestically.

That is where I stand; mainly because it'snot  nearly as beloved a film as the two you mention.

One thing seems certain:any discussion of Chinese box office for Mulan is postponed until further notice...….

Don't know about your expectations.

For me anything around Shazam Domestic and OS is huge win.

Budget is only 85m, they will make a good profit.

Just want Gotham City Sirens movie now.

Latest update from DL has the budget 97.1M

Trailer views do not equal big buzz;I think that has been shown already.

no, however they indicate that mulan has bigger buzz than dumbo and closer to aladdin at the same time like i said the jungle book made 365 mill dom

Sorry, didn't see that. I think it was a previous article where they said 83 mil or something like that.

Yeah they do this sometimes. I recall they reported Shazam's budget at 80M first, then bumped it up to 100M. Dunno why.

Definitely do not see Mulan repeating Dumbo (and I hope its a better film as well), but also cannot see it being upper tier of the remakes... as others have noted, ending in the Middle around Cinderella and the 180-200 arena sounds about right, but we shall see.

Thanks Keyser for the first update on F9 - thinks its crazy to have presales this far out, but what do I know
