It took 15 minutes for The Batman trailer to top 1 million views on Twitter alone. It has already blown past the view numbers for Wonder Woman 1984. Youtube predictably blowing up too. Wonder if this will challenge the single day viewing record?

Pretty obvious this is the most anticipated film currently on the release schedule

Now well over 10 million with Twitter and Youtube links combined.

This is the largest social media response to a teaser (the film is still well over 1 year away) since THE FORCE AWAKENS late 2014 teaser.

....I don’t think you understand how insane the IW and Endgame trailers were lol. They put up a million likes before Batman put up a million views lol

It's roughly about 60% of Far From Home on all platforms, Twitter is ahead but that goes to the fact that it is an whole day online event, which means bigger engagement and Twitter views are "2 seconds", which includes autoplay.

You Tube views are pretty low.

yep. Far From Home had 130mn views in 24 hour. 2nd trailer of FFH was even bigger with 135mn which is rarity.

this should try 70mn.

The time of the trailer release may also be a factor. This one was released after midnight in Europe.

25 hours (close enough to 24)

YT: 8.8 million views, 376k likes

Twitter: 6 million views, 202k likes

Facebook: 2.2 million views, 63k shares

Instagram: 3.9 million views (weird, it may be a case of not looking at the right account but I can't find any with more views than WB main), 1.1 million likes

Weibo: 5 million views, 10k shares

Edit: Thanks to @bruchav for finding the correct numbers on IG.

On main channels Batman 7 hours

YT: 4.5mn views 350k likes

Twitter: 11.1mn views 298k likes

Facebook: 3.5mn views

Instagram: 403k

Seems like YT will reach WW84 numbers.

Great for such an early trailer without the helping hand curiosity factor after Endgame or Infinity War, whichever it was.

on a side note, still love that a horror trailer, IT is #5 with 197m views.

All the figures mentioned in this post are from Wikipedia and all of them include auto play unfortunately. But it’s a rough guess.

Don’t forget to factor in release time.

Trailer came out at 1am in the morning here, UK time. All other superhero film trailers come out at 5pm usually.

That is bound to happen, it will be midnight in some place or other. If its post noon in UK, it will be midnight in East China, Korea, Japan, Australia.

MCU trailer release at 08:00 AM PST most of the time, which is like 11:00 PM in China, midnight in Japan & Korea, South East Asia, post midnight in ANZ.

That's much bigger market for CBMs than Europe.

Batman released right at start of day in India, Pretty good day in China, Noon in Korea, Japan and ANZ.

24 hours are same for all.

The Batman will easily beat Spider in Latin America and Europe, and very, very likely to beat in North America too, Spider only has a  chance (and likely to beat Batman) in some Asian countries like China, India and South Korea.
