Yeah I’ve only got those two. F9 comp will be coming up in 2 days, but I don’t have a complete run for that so it’ll still end up being only MCU comps.

I don't have any proper comps for something like this but it looks awful, pace is pathetic and it barely even added shows. I am surprised its doing this bad, I thought a good base of Sopranos fans would come out to theaters even with the MAX release. Maybe MTC1 looks better.

Now this on the other hand is looking like a sneaky 20 million contender or even higher, unless MTC2 is really overindexing relative to JC. The pace is really strong relative to JC, it added 6k in the last 2 days (I did not track JC Sunday but it added 11k from Sat to Tues so most likely this is running around 2/3 of JC pace). If MTC2 isn't overindexing I wouldn't be surprised at 25 tbh. Though I added the Paw Patrol comp in case we are looking at an overindex of that scale.

Most of the fans would likely rather just watch it at home with their HBO subscription in the first place and the fact they have the option to do so the same time it's out in theaters means there's zero reason to go out and spend an additional $12. Big time Sopranos fan here and HBO Max is how I'm gonna end up watching it.

A lot cheaper tickets probably with I suppose no or little PLFs. Am thinking 75-80K final Day 1 for $675-725K gross, that will mean $4-4.4M True Friday.
