I feel like it should be 12.5 million at the very very least even if MTC1 does bad today but Charlie's method is usually sound so trying to figure out where the discrepancy is.

Thanks for your insight, I saw your analysis on Twitter and that's what brought me here. I'm more of a Dune nerd than a box office nerd but I'll probably be around for the big comic book movies and such.

Just keeps chugging along here in Sacto.  Decided to rope in the Shang-Chi comp, even though it's pretty LOL-tastic right now.  Then again, the Black Widow comp ain't exactly gold standard right now, either.  

 

All in all, still smooth sailing here.

Friday's NTTD comp went from 17.27M -> 15.87M, so the comp is holding quite a bit better today. Obviously it's not gonna hit 18M today, but it's a 14.5% increase from yesterday's final NTTD comp. Not sure if it'll increase that much nationally, but I'm pretty confident in around a 10% increase like keyser was thinking yesterday.
