TLJ isn't FA...there is no rush to buy tickets almost two months before it hits theatres. Imo it will reach $220m OW given how R1 hit the high-end of predictions with $155m

TLJ definitely isn't the major ticket seller at my theatre TFA was. That being said, it's already sold out equivalent of 5M for Thursday night.

SW8 is blowing everything away this year in pre-sales handily though at my local theatre. 

 

I think it's certain to open to 200 million and over 650 finish as the base.

Oh damn, Thank You for Your Service just had a huge group buy at my theater for Thursday night with 25 tickets for a total of 27/78  That's going to skew comparisons a lot.

Let me be amused that my discount 2nd run theater is ALREADY getting this weekend...American Assassin (week 7 - not bad), American Made (week 5 - oof), and Mountains Between Us (week 4 - almost unheard of oof)...these movies can all pretty much be put in the "wrapping up DOM BO" categories after this weekend now...

Last update it was 20% ahead without the fan previews at my theater (it was 60% ahead with them). However this was at my theater only. I think sales will increase majorly on Sunday though since that what’s Homecoming did. I don’t think an IT like scenario (where in increases dramatically the weekdays before release).

JL showtimes have showed up at my theater. In regular Ultrascreen DLX like Wonder Woman but not like GV2, SMH, or Thor3.
