Tickets are now on sale for Game Night; I didn't realize it was only 93 minutes long:jeb!:

In this day and age where so many comedies unnecessarily overstay their welcome and push towards the two-hour mark, that's a breath of fresh air.

Black Panther 3199 3808 84.01%

Shades is trucking along fine, and Peter Rabbit saw a big boost, especially on Saturday. For Black Panther, every Saturday show is sold out, and so is almost all of Friday and Sunday. Monday only has one sold-out show, but I'm sure it'll get a couple more by the time the week's over.

Fifty Shades 1372 3205 42.81%
Peter Rabbit 339 1292 13.78%
15:17 to Paris 48 1131 2.65%

There's no good comps for Darker.

Peter Rabbit is 72% of Wonder sans previews ($19.3M), 63% of Coco's 3-Day ($32.1M), and 222% of Paddington 2's 3-Day sans previews ($23.6M).

15:17 is 192% of MBU sans previews ($23.2M), 369% of Marshall ($11.1M), 133% of The Foreigner sans previews ($16.4M), 218% of Roman Israel ($9.7M), and 76% of The Commuter's 3-Day sans previews ($9.9M)

Clint, you in danger girl.

The first show of Fifty Shades here is finishing with 92/124. It looks like there were some cancellations from earlier. Looking at the rest of the night, my theater gave this waaaaaaaaay too much capacity; some of the shows are hovering in the high singles/low teens. Then again, when looking at the movies they canned shows for (The Post/SOW/3B/12 Strong/Thieves/Phantom/Tonya/Coco/My Girl), it's still a good decision

Fifty Shades Freed 424 2,376

17.8%

Theater is having too much faith in FSF. Still not a terrible number.

The number is comparable to Alien: Covenant and Despicable Me 3

Also no previews for the other films .... LOL

Some sad news, Deep Wang will not provide any updates going forward as he quit his job recently. He might post here later as a farewell. Just letting everyone know that the era of actual presale numbers is over.

Will he just be known as Wang from now on?

AMC discovered that he was providing tracking info to other people.  Live footage of what happened when they found out:

"Quit his job" meaning "lying dead in a back-alley, murdered by killers-for-hire from Major Exhibitor?"
