Looks like the first one also made $150m in US dvd sales.

 

First film is in the top 10 of all time here in the U.K. unadjusted £68m.

How cute, there hasn’t been a bigger film in Sweden since Mamma Mia! grossed $25m 10 years ago.

 

For perspective, “biggest” film this year is Black Panther with just $7m.

It won't, but ABBA still sell millions every year. The target audience loved the first one too.

It will decrease but not necessarily on the opening weekend non-adjusted wise (at least we should expect it do decrease), it is a sequel and should be much more front loaded than Mamma Mia excellent 5.0+ legs.

 

Mamma Mia made 167m in 2018 dollar.

 

A 40% drop would make for a 100m performance in 2018, with a 3.3 legs (not bad for a sequel) you need to open at 30m.
